The last will and testament of Ebenezer Blaisdell of York dated November 10, 1777. He gives to his wife Lydia all his indoor movables and household furniture (except two beds and bedding) and one third part of all other personal estate to use and dispose of as she sees fit. Also gives her the use and improvement of the two eastern most rooms in his dwelling house, and one third part of his other real estate during the rest of her natural life. To his son David Blaisdell he gives three quarters of an acre of land where his plough and barn and well are to be taken in such form as will most conveniently accommodate him, in their use and improvement. To his son Daniel Blaisdell he gives all his lands at a place called Tatnick where he dwells. (Ernst genealogy states he lived in "Tatnick section at border of York and South Berwick.") To his son Jedediah Blaisdell he gives the nature of two hundred and sixty six pounds, thirteen shilling, and four pence to be paid to him by his brother Samuel. To his son Enoch Blaisdell he gives the yoke of oxen he has, and forty five pounds to be paid to him by Samuel To his son Abner, he gives the current value of a yoke of oxen and one hundred and fifty dollars to be paid to him by Samuel To his daughter Lydia, the wife of Jeremiah Bartlett, he gives the value or current price of a yoke of oxen, and one hundred and fifty dollars to be paid to her by Samuel. To his son Dummer, he gives his home farm containing one hundred acres and the buildings on them, one half of his salt marsh at "Partings" near the head of the York River, and one half of his two wood lots near Cape Neddick Pond. He also gives him one bed and bedding, one third part of his farming utensils, and his "Negro woman" Nanny. He subjects the estate given to him to the comfortable support of said Nanny during her life in case she shall stand in need of it. He also gives six calves with hay. To his son Samuel he gives all those land that he purchased out of the estate of his late father Ebenezer Blaisdell. He also gives him half of his salt marsh at "Partings" near the head of the York River, and one half of his two wood lots near Cape Neddick Pond. He also gives him one bed and bedding. Having given his sons Ebenezer and Elijah as much of his estate as he intended, he gives them only ten shillings each. Lastly, he nominates and appoints his son Samuel sole executor of his will.
