A warranty deed from John G. and Jessamine Brooks to Alexander Dennett, which was recorded at the Registry of Deeds and signed by Arthur E. Sewall, Justice of the Peace. The deed transfers the land and building on Lindsay Road from the Brooks' to Dennett, of Kittery, for the sum of $1,500.00. The deed also provides that if the Brooks' or their heirs pay to Dennett or his heirs, $1,500.00 within five years of the date of the deed with six percent annual interest, then the deed, and the promissory note it secured, would be void. Alexander Dennett attests that the note, which was secured by the mortgage was fully paid by July 1913. |
