Letter to Joseph Bragdon Jr., a York lawyer written by Theodore Bigelow to inform Bragdon of Theodore Lyman's death. There is a date discrepancy between this item and object id item A.2011.003.016, which is a letter dated May 25, 1839 and written by Theodore Lyman, one day after the date of this letter. This letter reports that Lyman did not seem to have died of a particular disease, simply old age and retaining his reason to the last. Bigelow also writes that Lyman's son, Theo Lyman Jr., will be settling his father's estate and will contact Bragdon about the interest due on his note. |
