Indenture document dated April 26, 1828 between James Jellison of York and Joseph Young of York where James Jellison agrees to give his son James Jellison Jr. as apprentice to Joseph Young until the age of twenty-one under the following terms, including providing good and wholesome food, lodging, and clothing, six months of schooling, and sixty dollars if Jellison should continue with Young until the age of twenty-one. If staying until the age of twenty-one, Young should also provide Jellison with two meeting suits besides his laboring clothes. Jellison is to provide farm labor and obey Young's commands.
